Let's Mark uses only cookies the site needs in order to work, and stores in your browser the settings you choose. It uses no advertising, tracking or third-party analytics cookies. Privacy law, including EU law, does not require consent for strictly necessary cookies, so we do not ask for it.

22. Cookies We Use

• __Secure-next-auth.session-token.v2: keeps you signed in. Lasts 7 days from your last visit.
• __Host-next-auth.csrf-token: prevents forged requests (CSRF). Deleted when you close your browser.
• __Secure-next-auth.callback-url: returns you to the right page after signing in. Deleted when you close your browser.
• __Secure-next-auth.state, __Secure-next-auth.pkce.code_verifier: secure signing in with Google. Last 15 minutes.
• lm_discord_state: secures linking your Discord account. Lasts 10 minutes.
• NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the language you chose. Lasts up to 1 year.

33. Other Data Stored in Your Browser

• Local storage (localStorage) holds only interface preferences: grid or list view, filter choices, tips you dismissed, whether you have seen the tour, and whether the profile song is muted. None of it identifies you and none of it is sent to the server.
• So the app opens quickly and works offline, pages you visit are cached in your browser for up to 7 days and posters for up to 30 days. Pages and responses belonging to your account are deleted when you sign out.

44. Third Parties

Posters load directly from the servers of the databases we get title information from, which see your IP address. The bot check on the sign-up, contact and password-reset forms runs only for security. Trailers on title pages are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); once you press play, YouTube may store data in your browser. Error reports go to a service hosted in the EU, with no cookies and without your name, email or user ID. Visit statistics are measured with a cookieless tool that runs on our own server.

55. Managing Cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, you cannot sign in and the site will not work properly. When we add a new cookie, we update this page.
