Bringing your films with you
Letterboxd's export gives you a CSV with a `Name` column and one row per film. Let's Mark needs that column called `title` and a second column called `type` holding `movie` - two edits in a spreadsheet, and scores and dates come across as well when you keep those columns.
- Export from Letterboxd, then rename the `Name` column to `title` and add a `type` column reading `movie`.
- Sign in, open your account page and go to Your data.
- Upload the file - you'll get a line-by-line report of anything it couldn't read.

- What is Let's Mark?
- A tracker for films, TV shows and anime. You keep a list of what you're watching, tick off episodes, rate what you finish, and see when new episodes air.
- Is it free?
- Yes. There is no paid tier, no advertising and no card required.
- Can I bring my Letterboxd list over?
- Yes, through the CSV importer. Letterboxd's export needs its `Name` column renamed to `title` and a `type` column added with `movie` in it; scores and dates are read when they're there. There is no one-click import.
- Does it handle anime?
- Yes. Anime is tracked as a series with its own genre, with episode lists from the same catalogues everything else uses.
- Can I track individual episodes?
- Yes - season by season and episode by episode, including rewatches and the date you watched each one.
- Can I follow friends?
- Yes. You can follow people, see their lists and compare. Profiles can be made private, in which case followers have to be approved.
