Import from TV Time
Import your TV Time history
Take the data archive TV Time gave you and turn it into a Let's Mark list: every show with the episodes you watched, the films you saw and the ones you saved for later.
Get your file
Find the ZIP you downloaded when you asked TV Time for your data. It is usually called
gdpr-data.zip.TV Time closed on 15 July 2026 and a new export can no longer be requested, so this has to be a file you already saved. Check your downloads folder and old emails.
Do not unzip it. Let's Mark opens the ZIP itself and reads six files out of it; the rest, including the ones with tokens and addresses, stay on your computer.
Sign in, choose the ZIP below and look at the counts it shows. When they look right, press Start import and wait for the report.
Upload it
Create a free account or sign in, then come back here: the upload box appears on this page. Nothing leaves your browser until you press Start import.
What comes across
- Yes
Watched titles
Every show you followed and every film you marked, whether you finished it or not.
- Yes
Episode progress
Watched episodes, season by season. A show you archived before the end is added as dropped; one you only followed is added as plan to watch.
- Yes
Watch dates
Each episode keeps the day you watched it. Films keep their watch date and how many times you saw them.
- No
Ratings
TV Time's export stores ratings and emotions as codes that mean nothing outside TV Time, so they cannot be read.
- Yes
Watchlist
Films you saved to watch later come in as plan to watch.
- No
Custom lists
The lists file in the export only holds empty favourites.
- No
Comments and reviews
Comments and character votes are not in a form that can be read.
How titles are matched
Shows are matched by their TheTVDB number, which is what TV Time used, so each lands on the right show. Specials and episodes that TheTVDB numbers differently today are counted and left out. Films carry only a name and often no release year, so a film is added only when the catalogue has one with exactly that name (and that year, when the archive has one). Anything that cannot be matched is listed after the import, so nothing disappears without you seeing it.
Safe to run, safe to repeat
The file is opened in your browser, and only titles, dates and ratings are sent, a few at a time. Account tokens and IP addresses in an export are never uploaded. An import never overwrites: what is already on your list keeps its progress, dates and ratings, so running it twice changes nothing. It is free.
Questions
- Can I still get my data from TV Time?
- TV Time closed on 15 July 2026, so a new export is not something we can promise. If you saved the ZIP earlier, it works here.
- Do I need to unzip the archive?
- No. Choose the ZIP as it is. Let's Mark opens it in your browser and reads only the six files that hold your shows and films.
- A film is missing from my list. Why?
- TV Time's archive stores films by name, often without a year. A film is added only when the catalogue has one with exactly that name, so renamed or very obscure films end up in the list of titles not found after the import. Add those by hand from search.
- What happens if I run it twice?
- Nothing is added twice. Titles already on your list keep their progress, dates and ratings, and the second report shows them as already there.
