Tej el hadhra

The series revolves around the lives of the Beys of Tunis, caught between the harem and the slanderous slander of the ruler. Given the series' timeline, which is rich in social events, it necessarily addresses issues that coincide with historical events, most notably the Ali bin Ghedhahem Revolution, or "the Bey of the People," during the reign of Muhammad al-Sadiq Bey.
