Lejos de Pekín

María and Daniel are over 40 years old, have been married for 8 years and have not been able to fulfill their dream of being parents. They have completed the adoption procedures and travel to a city in northern Argentina to continue the process. Upon arrival, the social worker accompanies them to start the bonding period, but in that long-awaited and desired meeting, things do not happen as they dreamed.
