Exoplanètes: Les Chasseurs de Mondes

Scientists are trying to define if there are other planets that are home to life and civilizations. The question has obsessed humanity for over 2000 years. In the absence of evidence, there was nothing to be sure. In 1995, two Swiss astronomers succeeded in detecting planets other than those of our solar system. Then begins a real hunt for exoplanets. These planets were until then undetectable because they gravitated around distant suns. There are billions of them in our galaxy alone. This discovery leads to further questions: what do these worlds look like? What can they teach us about ours? Is there a chance that they are inhabited? In observatories around the world, astronomers are looking for answers to these questions.
