Hezar Dastan

A corrupt, six-fingered inspector is sent to retrieve a valuable collection from a retired assassin, now living as a calligrapher. The calligrapher tells his backstory of working with an underground committee to assassinate higher ups in the government. The inspector then brings him to Tehran, and in the heat of World War II a very elaborate game of deceit and lies is being played between the inspector, the calligrapher, an aristocrat by the name of Khan -e- Mozaffar and a local gang leader; and the outcome of the game might seal the fate of common man.
