Compagni di scuola

Set in the world of high school, the series follows the lives of teachers and students at the “Giacomo Leopardi” Experimental Science High School in Rome. The main characters are the two Salina brothers: Felice, a fifty-year-old single intellectual, vice principal, and philosophy teacher; and Giovanni, younger and more outgoing, a science teacher who married years earlier (and is the father of a young daughter) but later divorced, and who still struggles to come to terms with his separation from his ex-wife. Their stories intertwine with those of the students—particularly those in Class IV F—and the other teachers.
