Fronteira das Almas

Cassiano receives a piece of virgin forest in an official colonization project in Rondônia, but has no money to grow it. Together with other people, he decides to take care of what he has been given, but he faces all kinds of problems, such as malaria and the dense, almost impenetrable virgin forest. His brother Tião lives in a community of squatters who occupy vacant lands in southern Pará, facing constant armed attacks by a bloodthirsty grileiro. In a growing tension, the conditions of survival deteriorate, prevailing drought and misery.
