After four long decades of friendship, the polar opposite owners of two retail garment stores--the conservative, Padelis, and the frivolous, Fotis--still love to bicker. However, even though they have entirely different characters, they have one thing in common: they both disapprove of the romantic union of their children, Manos and Nelly. As a result, to be able to see each other, the young couple enlists the help of their friend, Lilikos, who poses as the confidant of Padelis and Fotis' wealthy bosom friend, Antonis Lebesis, a self-made businessman in America.
