As the daughter of very wealthy parents, a young dentist can afford to treat her patients for free. Her fiancé refuses to work for women and claims that no one would let her treat her if she - like her male colleagues - asked for money for it. To prove him wrong, the dentist opens her own practice with the help of her black house servant Bambula. This is actually frequented by patients - who, however, are secretly referred there by the brother of their fiancé. The fiancé finally discovers the mediation, whereupon the dentist gives up her plan and willingly takes on the role of a housewife and wife.
