Successive slips between painting, dance, music, a Beaudelaire text, theater, passersby in the streets and fashion mannequins. Thus the images of each other parade in a disorder that rhythm paintings of master painters, which are linked and merged, while the soundtrack makes parade classical music or jazz. Parading until the blink of an eye, until it touches the subliminal image. And the parade of legs and feet responds to that of the faces of passers-by or cast chained on the faces of Marithé and François Girbaud. With a voice-over, the filmmaker declares: "What will the living do here ... Essentially the work of art is enough to oppose ambitions and interests"
