The true crime series "Crime from next door" adapts the eponymous podcast by and with Philipp Fleiter for television. Spectacular criminal cases from German post-war history are dealt with. The abuse that took place in a residential building in Höxter for years and in which two women lost their lives is discussed. The violent act of a former student in Rot am See, who killed six family members with firearms, is also portrayed. The Berlin art robbery in the Bode Museum, in which a 100kg gold coin disappeared, is presented along with other cases with original photographs and drawings by the graphic artist Sebastian Lörscher. Fleiter also invites experts to his studio to place the acts of violence and robbery in their context. (Lyrics: Roger Foerster)
