Andreas Kaiser returns to his Bavarian hometown of Schexing after around 15 years. The mayoral elections are coming up, but there is no one who wants to take over the office. Municipal treasurer Nelz and town hall manager Rosi Specht see Andreas as the ideal candidate. Inexperienced as he is, they believe they have an easy game with him. A mistake, as it soon turns out. No less stubborn than his father, farmer Ludwig Kaiser, Andreas throws himself into his work, develops unusual ideas and slowly but surely begins to turn the idyllic village upside down. Which doesn't meet with everyone's approval.

Franzi is a German television series.

A baby is abandoned in the village church of Fischbach. While Pastor Steffensen wants to take the legal route, the bundle of joy activates all of housekeeper Sophie's granny instincts. As Steffensen also takes the little rascal to his heart, the duo set off in search of the parents. The father of little Emil, who was apparently conceived out of wedlock, is a man from Fischbach, which causes a lot of unrest in the village. The bishop is also alarmed when the "parents" become the subject of media attention.

About Franzi Schwanthaler the sky collapses. Her boss and father suffers from a heart attack, which in turn leaves her older sister arrive from Berlin, and chronically knows everything better and distributes good advice. But should Franzi really seek a new livelihood in the city and let her father down with the competition and crushing bank debts? No. She does not give up so fast.

David Bottcher, a lawyer on a long hiatus for recovery from a mental illness, starts working as a liquidator for a firm. Things start going wrong when an employee he dismisses starts stalking him.
