Karlheinz, a down-to-earth Berlin contractor, loudly rails against Polish illegal workers who he claims are snatching up all his jobs. Things aren’t looking good for his small company, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Out of necessity, he takes a low-paying job with a shady contractor. Here she meets the boy next door, a quirky outsider who everyone just calls Boiler. Sonja and Boiler share the same passion: they want to be in the movies. A tender rapprochement begins. They soon plan a joint project, an "agent film", which they shoot in the nursery's greenhouse. Nevertheless, Sonja is unable to commit herself wholeheartedly to Boiler. She denies her friendship with Boiler in front of her clique. She betrays him again and again. Finally, Sonja instigates a dangerous test of courage in which Boiler puts his life at risk...

Young Piano teacher Lukas accidentally meets DJ Nathalie, the love of his life. After losing her telephone number, he starts looking for her. Finally, he finds her place and stays with friends of hers while she is abroad. Now Lukas falls in love with Alice, but does not want to admit it. And while his relationship with Alice is in doubt, Nathalie comes back home. Trouble had been breeding all along.

When rail lines are cut and workers laid off, Kurt Grantke sabotages the Commercial Railway to protect his town. Despite no injuries or evidence, the line to Storchenroda closes. Caught by Commissar Stahl, Kurt is freed by friends and, with his new wife, joins fellow railway workers in emigrating to South America.

Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German language detective television series. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series Tatort, and quickly became a public favorite.

Mord mit Aussicht is a German satirical crime comedy television series, produced by ARD, following the adventures of Sophie Haas, a detective from the city that takes a job in the fictional country village of Hengasch. Much of the humour of the series derives from the clichés of both city and provincial lives, in a similar manner to the English comedy crime series Midsomer Murders.
