Polizeiruf 110 (police call 110) is a German-language crime series that has been produced since 1971 in the DFF (1972-1990: East German television) and has been continued by various ARD institutions since the DFF was dissolved in 1993. The series is one of the most popular crime series and series. The police call 110 was broadcast on German television for the first time on June 27, 1971 as a counterpart to the West German crime scene and quickly became a crowd favorite.
