Peter Challis (born October 4, 2006) is an American filmmaker, director, screenwriter, and actor. Studying Film Production at SLCC's School of Arts, Communication, and Media, Challis is primarily known for his student short films, such as his debut Sore (2025), his Nacho Libre slapstick comedy The Tale of Taco Niño (2025), and his newest film, Matchbox (2026). Challis is an accomplished stage professional, as an actor with over a dozen credits in theatres across Davis County, and as a Lighting & Sound technician for Centerpoint Theatre. Challis is also known for his acting credits in But First, Coffee (2025), and the upcoming "Pink Suit". Challis is currently writing and directing an upcoming film titled "Keep it Down" and location managing the feature film "Match Made".
