The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD. München 7 is a German police drama series from Franz Xaver Bogner. The show is set in Munich, Germany and features the fictive police station "München 7" or "Munich 7". The main characters are the "Sheriff from Marienplatz" Xaver Bartl and his new colleague Felix Kandler. München 7 is part of a series of commonly branded shows with similar themes called "Heiter bis tödlich".

Der Bergdoktor is a German-Austrian medical drama television series, broadcast in 96 episodes between 1992 and 1997.

"Löwengrube – Die Grandauers und ihre Zeit" is a German television series first aired between 1989 and 1992, created by Willy Purucker and directed by Rainer Wolffhardt. It is set in Munich and follows the lives of Ludwig Grandauer and his son Karl, both policemen, covering the years from 1897 to 1954. The TV show is based on Purucker's radio play series Die Grandauers und ihre Zeit (‘The Grandauers and their time’). The series’ main title "Löwengrube", meaning ‘Lions’ Den’, refers to the address of the Munich Police Headquarters inaugurated in 1913.

Xaver is a rural rube who comes across a disabled spaceship in this light comedy. Alois is the alien who is befriended by Xaver and his busty sweetheart. Alois is disguised as just another Alpine tourist as the three search for a fuel pump to fix the engine of the spacecraft.

The 1930s in a Bavarian border village. The rich farmer Kapeller does not want to allow his son Franz to marry Lori, the daughter of the "needy" farmer Nikodemus Sterntaler. This is when Sterntaler's father-in-law Wendelin Kloiber, a hallodri and self-proclaimed do-gooder, appears on the scene. He cleverly takes advantage of the fact that the housekeeper Cordula and the Seeleitner, a square rat of the highest order, cannot keep their mouths shut.

When Anna learns that the entire village is to be turned into an amusement park, she joins forces with the cheerful ladies of the "Weißlauer Engel" to fight the building tycoon.
