Herbert Almeida

Actor

Herbert Almeida is a Brazilian actor. He began his career with the Tal&Pá theater company, where he was a member for two years. During this time, he performed in O Último Carro, by João das Neves (2005), playing Cicatriz, and Arena Conta Zumbi, by Augusto Boal, Gianfrancesco Guarnieri, and Edu Lobo (2006), playing Ganga Zumba. For his performance in Arena Conta Zumbi, Almeida was awarded Best Actor by both the professional jury and the popular jury at the State of São Paulo Student Theater Festival, held at the Tatuí Conservatory. In 2008, he made his television debut in the series 9MM São Paulo, playing Betinho, broadcast by FOX. In 2011, he earned a degree in Performing Arts from Universidade São Judas Tadeu (USJT). He also appeared in the TV Cultura series Pedro e Bianca. His screen work includes several short films, including O Silêncio de Vitta (2011), O Afinador (2012), Ponto de Evacuação (2021), and Tarantula (2022). Most recently, Almeida appeared in the feature film O Pântano do Morto, portraying Tulpa George, alongside Alexandre Rodrigues, Charles Paraventi, Marat Descartes, Lourenço Mutarelli, Roney Villela, Cacá Amaral, Fernanda Viacava, and Che Moais.
