In Nordstrand, a peninsula on the North Sea coast, the British army of occupation has set up its central administration in a carefully cordoned-off base cut off from the mainland. Gesa works in the military base's laundry with other German women. Her fiancé, a former Wehrmacht officer, is being held in the nearby internment camp, on the other side of the sea and the barbed wire. To find Gesa secretly at night in the dunes, Friedrich is not afraid to swim across the inlet. But the young woman falls in love with Simon, a British officer of German origin. She soon decides to tell Friedrich everything, but the dramatic events of that night prevent her from doing so...

First young lawyer Anna loses a shoe heel - then an important client to her oily colleague. "Why does everything always go wrong?", she complains to chat partner Jan. At home, the lonely soul also has to listen to the loud bedtime stories of her perky flatmate Sarah. But eventually Anna finds happiness too, because Jan's handsome boyfriend Kai turns the wheel of fate. Until the gray mouse throws on a white negligee and Jan confesses: "I don't want to chat anymore, I want ten children." Various Hollywood romances have been used up here. Despite a good cast and some nice ideas, there is a lack of momentum.

A pizza baker orders his listless driver to deliver pizzas. The order has been placed by two policemen who are monitoring a property. They plan the big coup by taking the money from the gangsters under surveillance themselves and absconding. The gangsters themselves are expecting a drug deal. However, when the deal goes wrong and the policemen intervene helplessly, the pizza delivery man sees his chance and disappears with the money.

The quiet place in the gallery of the church in Iffeldorf, where Lena Fauch occasionally found refuge and listened to the organist practise, is a place she will not see again for a long time. She accepts the offer from Detective Superintendent Kuda and becomes a police chaplain in Munich. Her first assignment confronts her with the criminal investigator Gregor Hoffmann. Hoffmann, who was assaulted during an arrest, is supposed to work through his misconduct with Lena Fauch. Hoffmann is unapproachable and rude. The encounters with him are provocative and disturbing. Chief Inspector Christian Fenn behaves quite differently. He is a self-confessed Christian and is delighted to have Lena as support in what he calls the "fight against Sodom and Gomorrah". Fenn is firmly convinced that he is one of the good guys.
