On a farm in rural Brazil in the 18th century, a new overseer arrives. He falls in love with one of the enslaved women, Mestiça, beloved by all the men. When a pair of silver earrings disappears from the farm and the overseer orders the leader of the enslaved women arrested, Mestiça decides to take revenge.

Man raised in a brothel tries to earn his living as a pimp, but gets in trouble when his girlfriend cheats on him with an older man.

Midi Première is a French variety show presented by Danièle Gilbert, directed by Jacques Pierre and broadcast from January 6, 1975 until January 1, 1982 on TF1. The program was generally broadcast between 12:15 p.m. and 12:55 p.m., then giving way to the 1:00 p.m. TV news. However, the broadcast schedule could change, depending on the guests, and the setting where the recording of the program was shot. Determined to secure the release of her father—imprisoned for advocating communism—Sílvia travels to Rio de Janeiro, where she finds work as a chorus girl at the Cassino da Urca. There, she meets and falls in love with a croupier named Tide. Sílvia becomes a celebrated beauty of Rio's nightlife but is blackmailed by a Nazi named Jofre; he promises to help free her father if she marries Michael, an Englishman from whom Jofre intends to steal a map to a uranium mine.
