Tom didn't know that the whistle was the only thing his mother had left from his father, the god Cernunnos, who had abandoned her. The embittered Tom leaves home, and so begins a series of adventures, at the end of which he not only saves the country from invasion by Danish troops and wins the hand of his beloved, Princess Olwen, but also finds his father.
