A Night in Tobria is a short film set in the world of The Dark Eye. This German pen and paper game from 1984 is home to great stories involving dragons, demons and armies. But ours is different, because it has room in an inn.

The two cult cops from Valais have to deal with a simple sprayer case while the rest of the department has to solve the discovery of a charred body. At the same time, the Valais, nay, the whole world, is threatened with disaster and even the Pentagon, the US Department of Defense, is involved.

Normally, the Valais cantonal police are concerned with minor details: runaway sheep and a presence at the village festival. Until the day when an inconceivable murder attempt awakens the criminalistic energy of policemen Bax and Pirmin. In the process, the duo not only uncovers local networks, but also tangles with dark forces.
