Caroline van der Plas

Vandaag Inside is a late-night talk show that airs on SBS6 in the Netherlands. It's known for its lively discussions, often revolving around current events, politics, and social issues, but with a bit of humor and controversy mixed in. The program has a unique dynamic because it features a combination of light-hearted banter and in-depth discussions about more serious topics.

In RTL Vanavond's new talk show, presenters Renze Klamer, Beau van Erven Dorens, and Humberto Tan are joined by a whole squad of well-known divers. And there are some notable names among them.

A talkshow about the media that week in The Netherlands.

Mark Rutte is followed in his final months as prime minister. He looks back on more than 13 years of leadership and gives a rare glimpse behind the scenes. What do his busy days look like? How does he come to decisions? And what drives him? There are also conversations with (former) politicians and friends.

Political journalist Jaïr Ferwerda follows politician Caroline van der Plas closely during the most tense elections ever. A unique and personal insight into the life of a party leader fighting for seats, and the person behind the politician. Who is Caroline really, what drives her, and how does she bounce back during campaign time after being attacked in the media on both political and private matters?

In the show, three famous faces are stuck together in a personalized house for two days. They just don't know in advance who their fellow residents will be. There is no one else present in the house, so no presenter either. That is not necessary, because the house itself is the host: it reacts, surprises and touches. For example, personal images suddenly appear, music sounds or the participants are asked unexpected questions. The celebrities get to know each other in a special way.

Sinterklaas plans to celebrate his birthday lavishly. This year, he's coming to the Netherlands for the hundredth time, and that's reason for a big party. He wants every child in the Netherlands to receive an extra present this year. At the same time, the Pieten (Black Petes) plan to surprise Sinterklaas with a big party, culminating in a special performance by one of the Netherlands' most famous artists. Robbie Reuzel, whose birthday is also on December 5th, hears about Sinterklaas's grand plans and becomes furious. After all, it's not the first time his birthday has been ruined by Pakjesavond (Santa's Eve). He devises a plan to outwit Sinterklaas, taking advantage of his witty neighbor, among other things. Will Robbie Reuzel succeed in thwarting Pakjesavond, or will the Pieten smell a rat and save the Sinterklaas celebration?
