Kresten, newly wed, is on the threshold of a great career success in his father-in-law’s company. After being "kidnapped" for a few days, Emma decides to return home. But, just as she is about to return, she overhears a couple of servants talking about how her parents don't seem to be very upset over her dilemma....

He remembers her love of dancing and his fear that his social clumsiness might end their relationship. Now, in twilight, he has other things to face.

Grocer Skaarup wins the big prize in the lottery, and it almost makes several members of his family unhappy. Fortunately, everything turns out for the best – and all's well that ends well, as they say in this charming comedy set in 19th-century Copenhagen.

The employees at Simonsens Bijouterifabrik are not only experts in Christmas parties. They also know a thing or two about company outings. The picnic baskets are overflowing, and the alcoholic beverages have certainly not been forgotten as the staff sets off for Bakken in a rented bus. Beer and spirits are consumed in abundance. As the booze flows, inhibitions are cast aside. In the increasingly boisterous atmosphere, one employee after another passes out. And the bus? Well, it can be hard to find in the booze haze! The fun never ends, and neither does the laughter.

Mikkel is given the opportunity to advance to deputy director of the company, and now the director has invited Mikkel and his wife to dinner at his home. Mikkel relies on certain unwritten rules and on himself. The latter is the most problematic.

They are a little embarrassed, but each has a good explanation for the "accident." They are "almost innocent" and therefore entitled to make the best of their voluntary "vacation."

Heavily influenced by the French stage sensation La Cage Aux Folles (which was filmed the very same year) a drag-queen comedy about a group of homosexuals sharing an apartment with a naive but straight country boy did not live up to expectations. The lead characters lead boring lives during the day and, as depicted here, downright pathetic existences at night, all decked out in peacock plumes and high heels and with nowhere to go.

TAXA is a Danish television drama made by Danmarks Radio with 56 episodes, written by Stig Thorsboe and produced by Rumble Hammerich. The series revolves around a small taxi central, CrownTaxi, in Copenhagen. The series was a success from the start, 14 September 1997 on DR1. The series was broadcast during the period 1997-1999 for a total of five series. CrownTaxi has its ups and downs and in the course of the series, following the various drivers, radio opertor Lizzie and boss Verner Boye-Larsen. They have all their problems both with clients and family life and constantly threaten the show's villain Hermann from the competing taxi firm, City Car, which wants to take over the CrownTaxi. TAXA was also screened in Sweden on SVT1.

Policeman Karl Jørgensen was once a prominent detective, but due to a violent temper he's now checking out passports at the airport, smuggling stout to work in his thermos every day. However, Kaj, the boyfriend of his daughter, is suddenly killed by a heroin overdose injected by hooded gangsters. It turns out he was spying on their organisation for his brother, Frank, who was framed by them while smuggling narcotics. When Frank hears about Kaj's death, he escapes from prison to get back at the killers. Meanwhile, the same gangsters threaten Karl Jørgensen's daughter, and soon Karl is involved in a major drug smuggling case. Frank and his buddy rob a bank and shoot a police officer. A country-wide manhunt ensues while Karl is having trouble with controlling his daughter's vigilante activities, with finding out who killed Kaj, with the police detectives on the case and with his own alcoholic and lacking existence.
