In 2008, she became a member of the pop group Queensberry, which disbanded in 2013. In January 2014, she released her first solo single under her given name, Gabriella. In 2020, she changed her stage name to Gabriella de Almeida, and in 2022 to Gabby.

The most recent version of the show was the third season in Holland, which completed in May 2010 with an English born winner, Andrew Melia who now resides in the Netherlands.
