Adaptation of Juan Rulfo's classic short tale "La herencia de Matilde Arcángel". Tranquilino Herrera, a man of the time of the Mexican Revolution, tells the story of her beloved, Matilde Arcangel, who was stolen from him by his boss, from whom he gives birth a child.

Seb, mariachi musician by night and guitar teacher by day, is by all accounts, a failed artist. Like a ghost wandering through his own life, Seb follows outside expectations and comically drifts further away from his dream of becoming a songwriter.
