Bunna Khalid

Bunna Khalid (Arabic: بُنه خالد; born October 20, 1994) is a Sudanese actress and former model from Khartoum. A Public Relations graduate of the National Ribat University, she worked in public relations across several African countries before turning to acting. She first modeled for two years in Sudan and East Africa and appeared in television commercials, which led director Amjad Abu Alala to cast her as Naima in You Will Die at Twenty (2019). The film won the Lion of the Future award at the Venice International Film Festival and the Golden Star at El Gouna Film Festival, and became Sudan's first-ever submission for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
