Born in Toronto, Lainey Lui now resides in Vancouver with her husband and beagle. Lui is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario where she majored in French and History. Lui has combined her passion for celebrities, gossip and gab with her blog LaineyGossip, a popular celebrity gossip blog, which reaches over one million readers. Lui joined the team of etalk in 2006 where she reports on celebrities, gossip and entertainment to TV viewers across Canada. In February 2010, Lui reported on entertainment and gossip for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games.
