Say "Hi", to Andrea Thomas (we call her "Drea") - seventh grader at Hampton Falls Junior High and the most imaginative babysitter since Mary Poppins. Drea has an unusual knack for winding up in the middle of things - like a wacky campaign for class president against Arlene Blake, "Miss Popularity". When black mustaches "mysteriously" appear on all of Arlene's posters (thanks to Drea's campaign manager and best friend, Kimberly), Mrs. Long, the school principal, steps in and expresses disappointment in Drea's actions.

When Drea's dad gets a job interview in California, the whole family goes along for an awesome L.A. weekend. They even visit the set of a TV show hosted by Beethoven and Step by Step star Chris Castile! But the more Drea thinks about what she'd leave behind - Matt and Rebecca Long and best Friend Kimberly - the less excited she is about moving. And the thought of losing Drea reminds the Long kids of their father's death.

Thirteen-year-old Drea learns a lesson about responsibility when she's forced to cancel her exciting weekend plans to babysit for Rebecca and Matt

But Drea's perspective changes, thanks to a poster of basketball star A.C. Green that comes to life to remind her even the pros have challenges to overcome.
