In the mid-18th century, the modern day border between Bosnia and Croatia, wasn't just a border between two countries. It was a border between two political powers,The Venetian Republic and the Ottoman Empire, and their respective religions, Christianity and Islam. But, in the midst of that passionate conflict between the East and the West, a romance blossoms between Ivan Revač, a young Croatian assasin working for a local aristocrat, and Leyla, the daughter of an Ottoman bey.

This show is located in the picturesque Oštrovac, a village on the edge of the national park. Katarina, Tomislav and Krešo will get a million euros from his grandfather - but only if they spend a year in his ruined house in Oštrovac. Otherwise, the money belongs to the locals.

Two mismatched families forced to share a home navigate a whirlwind of comedic misunderstandings, generational clashes, and everyday domestic chaos as Boris, Ana, her sister, and their loud extended clan struggle to adapt to life under one roof.
