When a young woman and her fiancé (called Child) prepare for their wedding they decide to first find the young man's true name and to do that they must go on a crazy journey filled with quirky characters, forgotten family members and a whole lot of magical adventure.

When childhood best friends Peter and Mark hear about the world's coolest (in their eyes) costume party ever, they wish to be cool enough to secure an invite. They do whatever it takes, and end up biting more off than they know.

Jane, the mascot of the High School cheerleading team, is bullied by the school tyrant. Additionally, her house is destroyed by a tornado, forcing her to move in with her childhood nemesis, whom she hasn't seen in years, affectionately nicknamed "Tubby." Unexpectedly, Tubby turns out to be the new, tall, and handsome captain of the school's basketball team.
