In September 1992, recordings were made at Grand Café De Kroon on Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam for The Naked Truth. The project did not hit like a bomb, but over the course of 1993 the Naked Truth virus spread like wildfire and by the summer of 1993 the record was still in the top ten of the album chart. Earlier this year, the rock band GEarring, who have been performing at a unique height for decades, gave a concert at Ahoy Rotterdam. This second unplugged concert by Golden Earring was recorded at the Luxor in Rotterdam in 1997 and features classics by the group that were missing from the first concert.

Naked III (2005) is an acoustic live performance by Golden Earring, Holland's longest standing rock band, recorded at entertainment and event venue Panama in Amsterdam. This concert is the follow-up to The Naked Truth (1992) and Naked II (1997). The concert includes songs that have never been played acoustically and well-known golden oldies.
