A sound technician who specializes in Foley effects (recreation of sounds for a film no directly recorded during shooting) has an accident that forces him to stay home for a few days. When Julia's boyfriend has to leave Barcelona and move temporarily to London for work, she is forced to share a flat with an outgoing Dutch photographer. Their living together will make both of them rethink the way they face life.
