Jim, haunted by visions of his violent death, seeks to reconcile with his son Tom. Initially rejected, they grow closer, but past issues resurface. When Tom disappears, Jim believes his visions are coming true and embarks on a rescue mission, leading to a confrontation with his past and understanding his visions.

Kim and Maja, two physiotherapists who are friends, are planning to open a practice together. To finance their dream, they are working part-time at a hostess agency that offers jobs in the restaurant industry.

Slowly, though, the barriers between the two are broken down and Kathy finds herself smitten by the streetwise and energetic Alex. The pair starts horsing around, larking about on the mudflats, until one weekend, when they’re alone at the farm, things spiral out of control.

Conflict and tension looms heavily across the broken remains of a distant, post-apocalyptic world. Controlled by a race of oppressive genetically-enhanced humans, the last natural-born humans have no choice but to bow down to their rule. The only alternative is to wander the vast wastelands surrounding the last habitable city, whilst relentlessly hunted by roaming pack of mutated monsters. Meanwhile, outside the towering walls of the citadel, aboard a massive hulking army tank, an uprising occurs amongst the natural-born crew. Their hope lies in the legend of the Republic of EZO: said to return aboard the last starship....

Nina and Paul's marriage is over, they are just waiting for an opportunity to teach it their son Tim. During a chance encounter, Nina flirts with Viktor, her son's hockey coach, and goes with him to his house. A decision with serious consequences because Nina is nearly raped, defends herself and kills Viktor in the process. Paul followed the two and witnesses the misfortune, what makes a self-defense situation implausible for others. Agitated, the two drive home without notifying the police. While the investigations begin in the background and there is hardly any other topic in the circle of acquaintances of the other hockey parents, Nina and Paul have to stick together and assort new. Through the confrontation with the events and the solidarity as a "couple of crime" they find each other again in the course of the story. But can they also live with this guilt?
