Ahmed Atef

He works as a director, screenwriter, film producer and film critic. He has been practicing film criticism since the age of 18 and was the film critic of the French newspaper Al-Ahram Hebdo for ten years. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema in Cairo in 1993, and then studied for a master's degree at the College of Film at the University of Southern California in Hollywood, America in 2005.
