While they enjoy expensive school trips, he spends his days in his family’s dilapidated farmhouse, finding solace only in a camera gifted by his grandfather, a lens through which the world seems brighter. When two girls enter his life - Miia, a street artist, and Emilie, a mysterious girl from the marsh - Morten’s world is turned upside down as he struggles to understand both his first stirrings of love and the changing world around him.

Juhan Liiv, a struggling poet and an unlikely detective, solves gruesome murder cases in Estonia, the Wild West of the crumbling Russian Empire in the 1890s. The day before Christmas, the Veterinary Board receives a positive A test result from a wild boar shot by a hunter. The young veterinary officer has a disposal machine ready and starts touring the farms in his former home village. The very first farm in Kiuma village is home to the elderly and childless Ants and Minna. For the couple, their domestic animals are a substitute for their missing children and loved ones. At the same time, Ants' nephews arrive with their wives and children. The goal is to quickly deliver the gifts and drive back home to the city. But the farmer Ants announces the situation he is in with his animals, and now he needs the help of his relatives to slaughter the pigs.

It's 1947 in Estonia. After the suicide of her friend, young student Marie starts to feel threatened by the Stalinist regime. She tries to find ways to escape across the sea, but it turns out to be more difficult than she expected.

One sleepy Saturday morning a 30-year-old construction worker Erik gets some earth shattering news: his ex-girlfriend Moonika who he hasn't even seen for the past six months is about to go into labor. She however is not ready for motherhood and if Erik doesn't want the kid either, the little girl will be put up for adoption.

In order to achieve that Mattias decides to start faking the illness her gilfriend really has - bipolarity.

The young country of Estonia is dancing to the jazzy tune of the 1920's when on December 1, 1924, the capital Tallinn is overrun by members of the Comintern in an attempt to stage a Communist coup. The film follows the fates of a young soldier called Tanel and his wife, a telephone operator named Anna, amidst the ensuing chaos which determines whether the country remains independent or becomes a minor province in the Communist Empire.

Sensitive and restless Johannes is accepted to an elite school in Tallinn and expects life to go uphill. Instead, he becomes the victim of mental abuse by his classmates. In search of recognition, he goes to his old Lasnamäe friends, who spend their time doing drugs, hanging around, and partying, rather than focusing on schoolwork. At home, Johannes must deal with his mother’s deteriorating mental health. As the tension grows, he finds himself at zero point, where he must completely reset his life to build it up from scratch.

Film is based on "Unified Estonia" which was a fictitious political movement created by NO99 Theatre and a large portion of the public treated as a real political force. Its convention, held for more than 7200 people, was one of the largest theatre events in modern European theatre history.

The film consists of three chapters. The Manslayer takes place more than a hundred years ago. The leading character Maara is a young bride who is about to start her life in her new family. The Virgin, set in the spring of 1949, tells the story of a young woman called Elina, who has been deported from Ingria into Estonia during the previous war. The Shadow moves in the present, on the border of real life and fantasy. The main character, Luna Lee, has decided to flee from home. Is there anything besides emptiness somewhere? The film is led by the singularity of the leading character - Maara, Elina and Luna Lee are all played by the same actress.

When a former fistfighter Madis leaves the prison, he feels he will get another chance in life. Nothing can go wrong this time. Madis will be accompanied by his nephew who has something completely opposite in his mind. A game begins where both the weak and the strong get more and more opportunities.

August 1991, military coup d'etat in Moscow. When Soviet tanks are on the streets of Tallinn, Estonia, all hopes for independence seem to be lost. People in the only local television station, ETV, are facing their own choices.

A group of women create an organization named "Kättemaksukontor" to fight for the rights of women and help solve murder mysteries for the police.
