Croatia. A holiday destination for hundreds of thousands of Czech and Slovak tourists, who come here for the sea, mountains, monuments, entertainment, and relaxation. Because even in a holiday paradise, sometimes things go wrong. And sometimes there's murder... The story of the series takes place on the island of Hvar, where a central pair of Czech-Slovak detectives helps to solve crimes involving Czech and Slovak tourists. Michal and Ivana are like fire and water. While he is a funny, sarcastic detective from the "old school," she is a free-spirited, temperamental woman. Together, they must restore the disrupted harmony of the sunny island. The mixed local police force gets to investigate even the most serious crimes. The rule is clear. A Czech body, a Czech chief investigator. And vice versa.

Then he hallucinates, sees trains from the last hundred years pass through the station. They bring ghosts and shadows from the dark past of Central Europe. Alois can’t get rid of these nightmares and eventually ends up in sanatorium. In the sanatorium, he gets to know The Mute, a man carrying an old photograph who was arrested by the police after crossing the border. No one knows why he came to Bílý Potok or who he’s looking for, but it is his past that propels Alois on his journey…

Olga is a complex young woman desperate to break free from her unfeeling family and social conventions. With her Louise Brooks-like tomboyish looks she drags herself, chain-smoking, from one job to another until she appears to find her niche as a truck driver. Explosive conversational comedy based on the successful theater plays, which takes place one evening in a remote local pub, during the match of Ice Hockey World Championship. Milan's relationship with Dr. Eliška is developing promisingly, and when Milan finally decides to propose to her, it seems that nothing stands in the way of the wedding. Well, apart from one small "trifle" - Milan is still married to Slovakian woman Janka, Kryštof's mother, with whom he somehow forgot to divorce years ago! Apart from Milan's misgivings, there is another problem - the foursome's return to playing water polo is not going very well. There are only three left... and that's a hell of a lot... To save the group and pull his friend Jakub out of his depression, Kryštof decides to bring the aquabels to the pool with whom he wants to practice his performance. Honza is not too enthusiastic about Kryštof's plan at first, but later with the vision of rescuing a friend (and the possibility of being in the presence of beautiful aquabels) everyone starts preparing a performance called "Husband of the Hour".

The film's main theme is obsession. An obsession with love, with art, originality, copying, with success, money and... with oneself. Sooner or later, if we lose our rational upper hand over it and let ourselves be dragged down by it, every obsession leads to destruction. But it is only when being dragged down, in spite of all the cuts and bruises, that we find a unique DELIGHT, if only for a few short moments - and what else is life really about? It is like a drug. What at first seems to be weak and trivial is capable of expanding and growing into a serious problem that can appear to be absolutely incomprehensible and absurd to those who have never experienced anything like it.
