This is the film Crete in Flames, with some changes made to exploit a true story – it is about the kidnapping of Tasoula Vardinoyannis by Yannis Kefalogiannis –, a story that had shocked and fascinated the entire Greek nation, and had received widespread publicity. The Battle of Crete and the legendary resistance of the brave Cretan people against the German occupiers who invaded the island en masse by air in 1942.

A major hit in the Greek cinemas at the time, this comedy by Omiros Efstratiadis is about a bunch of teenagers who make things difficult for their teachers.

Souglakos as the new "Rocky" in yet another attempt to remake the classic film, "The Bums" (1984). Here, violence and sex are sidelined and emphasis is placed on the dramatic and social elements.

A poor and oppressed employee wins the football bet lottery and decides to live the life he dreamed so many years, wastefully scattering his money.
