Daniel is a psychic who can see the past and predict the future. As a child, he had a vision that his brother-in-law, João Henrique, was cheating on his sister, Ester, which led her to separate from her husband. As an adult, his psychic abilities increase and Daniel uses them for his own benefit, rather than to help people. He sets up a practice and appears on TV, becoming famous and known as “the Prophet.” Daniel begins to grow rich, important, and cold.

Fascinação is a Brazilian telenovela produced by SBT and originally broadcast from May 25 to November 6, 1998. Written by Walcyr Carrasco, with collaboration by Ecila Pedroso, it is a free adaptation of the Argentine telenovela Piel naranja. The telenovela stars Regiane Alves, Marcos Damigo, Heitor Martinez, and Glauce Graieb. Set in the 1930s, the story follows Ana Clara Guimarães, the intelligent daughter of a milkman who falls in love with the wealthy Carlos Eduardo da Silva Prates. Although they dream of building a life together, their romance is threatened by Carlos Eduardo's ambitious mother, Melânia, who conspires to separate them. Pequena Travessa is a Brazilian telenovela produced by SBT and originally broadcast from November 4, 2002, to April 15, 2003. It is an adaptation of the Mexican telenovela Mi pequeña traviesa, based on the original Argentine story Me llaman Gorrión by Abel Santa Cruz. Adapted by Rogério Garcia, with collaboration from Ecila Pedroso and Simoni Boer, the telenovela stars Bianca Rinaldi and Rodrigo Veronese. The story follows Júlia, a determined young woman who is forced to put aside her dream of attending college after her father is left paralyzed in an accident. Disguising herself as a boy to find work and support her family, she secretly sleeps inside a department store because she cannot afford a place to live. There she meets Alberto, the wealthy heir to the business, and the two fall in love while facing misunderstandings, family conflicts, social differences, and the schemes of those determined to keep them apart.

Pícara Sonhadora is a Brazilian telenovela produced by SBT and originally broadcast from August 27 to December 18, 2001. It is a Brazilian adaptation of the Mexican telenovela La Pícara Soñadora (1991), based on the original story by Abel Santa Cruz. Adapted by Henrique Zambelli, with collaboration from Adriana Moretto and text supervision by Crayton Sarzy, the telenovela stars Bianca Rinaldi and Petrônio Gontijo. The story follows Ludmila "Milla" Lopes, a hardworking young woman who moves to São Paulo to study law while working in the toy department of the prestigious Soles department store. Unable to afford housing, she secretly sleeps inside the store at night. Her life changes when Alfredo Rockfield, the wealthy heir to the business, disguises himself as an ordinary employee to win her heart. Seven months later, Gustavo finds Natália and blackmails her, forcing the future mother to take an ultimate decision.
