The film consists of three independent parts: "Workmate", "Déjà vu" and "Operation Y". The plot follows the adventures of Shurik, the naive and nerdy Soviet student who often gets into ludicrous situations but always finds a way out very neatly.

The Second World War has ended. However, there is also a judgment of conscience — the most difficult judgment, because a compromise with one's own conscience never leads to good.

The film consists of three short stories: “King of the Mountains” - about a giant bear; “Loyalty” is a touching love story between two storks; “The Loop” is about a proud deer.
