Christopher Muncke (July 24, 1942 – April 6, 2022) was an American actor who played Captain Edmos Khurgee in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. He retired from acting in 1990, transitioning to a career as a schoolteacher. In an interview, Muncke said that his only contact in the film industry after his retirement was "when I am fortunate enough to be invited to events where I can meet and chat with Fans whether they are part of what I like to call our Star Wars Fan Family."
