Like an assortment of beautiful gems, their colours may clash, and their sharp edges chip away at each other. Using an analogy of a bowl of rice with assorted ingredients to illustrate the workings of a family, the key to a great dish is using the right balance of ingredients in order to create a good mixture. Assorted Gems tells the story of the different lives of the family members and how they learn from their clashes to find the perfect balance.

This drama also focus on the love triangel between the three main characters, Kang Min (Kim Hyung Joon), a top star in the Korean entertainment buisness who a is bit temperametal. No Yong Woo (Park Kwang Hyun), a well know producer. and Jun Ji Hyun (So E Hyun), a newly minted scriptwritter.

Six high school students, who have finished their college entrance examinations, accidentally discover a haunted house with eerie rumors to it. Inside there, the students start to hear the whispers of death and vanish one by one, as unstoppable, extreme terror engulfs them.

A woman finds a man in a box in front of her home and takes him in. She jokingly says she wants to keep him as her pet since the man reminds her of her childhood dog. The man agrees. Later the woman discovers that the man is a dance prodigy. Complications arise when her old flame from college returns.
