Reed Timmer

This series reveals recent natural disasters as they happened in real-time through footage captured by eyewitnesses who found themselves in the wrong place at the right time and boldly held up their camera phones to capture the eye of the storm.

A landmark series that packs an entire year's worth of the world most epic storms into one season. From tornadoes in March in the US to mudslides in December in Central America, we'll embed with storm chaser Reed Timmer and his team as he heads straight into Mother Nature's fury unraveling the world's most dangerous weather events as they are happening.

Anyone who has seen "The Wizard of Oz" knows that an oncoming tornado is nothing to trifle with, but "extreme filmmaker" Sean Casey takes viewers right into the heart of Tornado Alley and inside the storms themselves to capture valuable research data and unprecedented footage.

Teams of expert storm chasers and certified weather spotters risk it all to venture into America's Tornado Alley. They self-shoot their encounters with nature at its most extreme, warn people in harm's way, and help save lives when disaster strikes.

Hosted by Ron Pitts, it features video segments of various things being destroyed fairly quickly such as planes crashing, explosions, sinkholes, boats crashing, fires, race car incidents, floods, etc. The nature of the show closely resembles Real TV. The show uses real video of real events, and commentary explaining the destruction portrayed. Most videos have stock sound effects added.
