Dan Cummins

Mid-quarantine, Wes Crowley learns that a childhood friend and popular YouTube conspiracy theorist, Toby Blackwood, is missing. He and his friend Luke try to track Toby down and attempt to make sense of what little clues are left behind.

A darkly comedic portrait of Chip Seinfeld- the degenerate, cocaine-addicted "brother" of Jerry Seinfeld. The story follows Chip through the streets of Columbus, Ohio as he struggles to break out of the shackles of his failed attempt at a stand-up comedy career. Just when it looks like he gets the chance of his life to headline a comedy festival, his paranoia gets the best of him and he shoots himself in the foot just like he has always done in the past. He might be obscure to the general public but within the world of stand-up comedy he is loved by few and hated by many.

No stranger to the stand-up stage or late-night talk shows, Dan Cummins has built his rep on being crazy when it comes to his comedy, and this off-the-wall set filmed live inside the Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane, Wash., doesn't disappoint.

Recorded in Minneapolis at The Parkway Theater on Saturday, December 10th, Dan's 4th hour special (following Crazy with a Capital F, Don't Wake the Bear, and Get Outta Here; Devil!) is his best. Recorded in front of an enthusiastic audience of Timesuck podcast fans, and fans of his Scared to Death podcast as well, Dan talks about everything from the nonsensical political polarization of America, to abortion rights, to hunting, how modern language expectations could destroy his style of comedy, the problem with the intersection of religion and politics, and much more. All in his signature style of social commentary and sarcastic absurdism.

In his third hour special, comic and podcaster Dan Cummins presents some of his most outrageous material to date. Dan mocks those who believe in the lizard illuminati, a flat earth, the notion that you can sell your soul to Satan, and more. Dan even makes fun of himself for once having sex with a banana peel in a grocery store bathroom - nothing's too weird or dark. Dan jokes about his kids, his ongoing hatred of strangers, and even offers to improve the world by killing a lot of people. Enjoy!

Dan Cummins sets to impress with his new release, Don't Wake The Bear. Cummins offers the audience his own brand of odd, featuring his trademark unusual, yet pointed observations, mixed with a slight twist of delusion.

These half-hour specials showcased some of the best up-and-coming comedians of the moment. The show was a pivotal stepping stone for many of today's stand-up stars.
