Macabéa has just moved to the big city after her aunt, who raised her, died. She gets a job as a typist and moves into a boarding house with three other women. In her spare time, she listens to a radio station called Time; on Sundays, she likes to ride the metro. Then she meets Olímpico, a northeasterner like herself, who has dreams of becoming a congressman.

Our heroes need to take a trip in time, in a Time Machine, in order to recoup the essence of the four elements before the Earth gets frozen. The Gang will face the dangers of the Ancient History with Piteco, will help Papa-Capim to save the Forest, will fight with the Astronaut against the pirates and will even meet themselves as babies in the past!

There are eight episodes in stories full of adventure and play in the neighborhood of Limoeiro, with a new car ride, lost treasure, art exhibition in the square, puppet theater, an unexpected escape from Cascão (again?), Characters Saltimbancos and a lot more.

In the fifth installment of the Cine Gibi series, Smudge and Jimmy Five find themselves engaged in a lively debate over the ultimate action film. Seeking a resolution, they turn to their friend Franklin, known for his inventive prowess, to organize yet another round of projected comic book film sessions using his colossal blender.

Seeking a fresh and innovative experience, Franklin ventures into a novel approach to comic book reading—animated comics. To bring this idea to life, he sets out to invent a colossal blender that not only engulfs comic books but also projects them as captivating films. The characters from Monica's Gang are thrilled by the prospect of witnessing their beloved comic book adventures unfold on the big screen.
