José Ramalho Neto, (Brejo do Cruz, 3 de outubro de 1949), mais conhecido como Zé Ramalho, é um cantor e compositor brasileiro. É primo da cantora Elba Ramalho. Suas influências musicais são uma mistura de elementos da cultura nordestina (cantadores, repentistas e rabequeiros), da Jovem Guarda (Roberto Carlos, Erasmo Carlos, Golden Boys e Renato e seus blue caps), a sonoridade dos Beatles e a rebeldia de The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Raul Seixas e, principalmente, Bob Dylan. Há elementos da mitologia grega e de histórias em quadrinhos em suas músicas. Tem seis filhos: Christian (1974), Antônio Wilson (1978), João (1979), Maria M. (1981), José (1992) e Linda (1995); além de cinco netos, Ester (1999) e Miguel (2004), filhos de Maria com Zé Carlos; Ana Lua (2002), filha de João com Mariana; Maria Luísa, (2009) e Felipe (2011), filhos de Christian e Tatiana. É casado com Roberta Ramalho, mãe de José e Linda, há 27 anos. Em outubro de 2008, a revista Rolling Stone promoveu a Lista dos Cem Maiores Artistas da Música Brasileira, cujo resultado colocou Zé Ramalho na 41ª posição.
