Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German language detective television series. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series Tatort, and quickly became a public favorite.

SOKO Leipzig is a German police procedural television programme, a spin-off of the earlier German police programme SOKO 5113. 40 years of Neues Theater Halle means 40 years of theater history and stories that have been lived and experienced. It began with the initiative of actor and director Peter Sodann, who, with the participation of his acting ensemble, built a theater in the center of Halle (Saale) that is unique in Germany. It continued through the peaceful revolution and the growth in audience numbers in the period after 1989/90, and ended with the end of his tenure as founding artistic director.
