In sixth-century Mecca, Prophet Muhammad receives his first revelation from God as a messenger. Three years later, he's not alone in his quest and publicly declares his prophecy. Muhammad is fought by Abu Sufian and his wife Hind, rulers of Mecca. Muhammad's followers are hunted and tortured but he continues his calling.

A wealthy landlord floods and destroys a village on purpose to prevent the people living there from making a profit off their crops. What he doesn't know is that his own daughter, Amal, is in love with Ahmed, a young man from the village.

Set in 1933, the mayor informs the peasants that the share of irrigation of their land will be split equally between them and feudal lord Mahmoud Bey. The peasants send Mohamed Effendi to submit a petition to the government. Mahmoud Bey then proposes a project that would require taking part of the peasants' lands.

Amid the poverty, death, and suffering caused by World War II, 18-year-old Yehia retreats into a private world of fantasy and longing. Obsessed with Hollywood, he dreams of studying filmmaking in America but struggles to pursue his dream, given the constraints of his life in the middle class and the horrors of war.

The film revolves around a young man who falls in love with his cousin, but her mother rejects this love and marriage, and tries to marry her to an older and wealthy man, to ask her cousin to volunteer in the fleet to help speed up the marriage.

Actress Sanaa Kamel is found murdered on her bed, and an investigation starts, taking into account everyone of the guests she hosted at her apartment the night she was killed: her jealous fiancé, a school instructor, a corrupt market manager, one of Sanaa's friends who works as a contractor, and a stud who was Sanaa's secret lover. As the investigation progresses, all the conclusions about the characters are always under question.

Set shortly before and during the Six Day War in June of 1967, The Sparrow follows a young police officer stationed in a small village in Upper Egypt whose inhabitants suffer from the harassment of a corrupt businessman.

The story revolves around the mayor of Morschi married to a dancer whose son was born from his first wife. The mayor exploits the peasantry to achieve his personal ambitions and goals without paying attention to them. After a period, the mayor knows that someone from the ministry will search him, The mayor believes that one of them is the inspector-general of the ministry and approaches him, exploiting the other person to deceive the mayor with his friend and asking him for many bribes.

The film's events revolve around Abdo (Ahmed Mazhar), who works as a teacher in a girls' school instead of his colleague Jamal (Omar Al-Hariri), who has gained wide popularity among the girls, especially Attiyat (Souad Hosni). Abdo marries his student Atiyat, but their marital relationship experiences a lot of tension because of Abdo's constant suspicion of his wife and his belief that she is having an affair with Jamal.

A wealthy boy is involved with three girls from three different religions: Rachel, a Jew that he lies to and claims to be a Jew himself, Marika, a Greek Christian, and Fatma, a Muslim woman whom his father wants him to marry.

The film takes place in Palestine and portrays the lives of freedom fighters trying to free their village from the control of the Israelis. After Ibrahim Al-Tayer comes out of prison, he returns to stealing, where he smuggles 750 thousand pounds, and hides with the money in a mental hospital in agreement with the hospital's director alone. But when the director dies, Ibrahim escapes with another to hide from the police and gang that wants the money.

After the father, Abdo, passes sixty, he retires from his job. He starts discovering new things about his four children, while his children realize that they've drifted away from their father, and that they'll always need him like he needs them.
