Do you have dreams? Any unfulfilled wishes? A group of retirees set out on a trip to fulfill them and reminisce about their younger years working at the municipal spa. Kňoura, Josefa, Janata, Kačera, and grandson Tomáš are in for a trip they will never forget. A helicopter flight, sleeping under the stars, dinner at a posh restaurant, a race with a Formula 1 driver, but also fun on the merry-go-round.

His superior does not like him. However, during a military exercise on the way to the barracks, Kouba shows his true character when he saves the life of a little boy, convicts a thief and finds a lifelong partner in the commander's sister.

Miller’s daughter Zuzanka Vojířová, betrothed to Ondřej Zachar, hesitates before marriage when Lord Peter Vok of Rožmberk invites her to his castle. There she bears his son Petříček, but his wife hides the child. After Vok’s death in battle, Zuzanka is expelled and lives as a beggar, reunited with her son and former fiancé, finding solace in the continuation of the Rožmberk lineage.

In his feature debut, Dneska přišel nový kluk (A New Boy Started Today) from 1981, the director Vladimír Drha set the tone for a number of Czech films, which critically depicted the state of society from the perspective of young protagonists. Although, Drha primarily found scope for his work in television, he returned to the world of a “working youth” in his second film Mezek (The Mulish Victor, 1985) – albeit following him from the point of view of an educator. The film tells the story of the relationship between a mentally disabled uncle and his nephew, whom fate brings together at a certain moment, gradually forming a bond between them that is a demonstration of the strength and "power" of friendship. This is then put to the test by those who, for various reasons, try to separate them. Among other things, the film is a confrontation between the two main, innocent protagonists and those who lost their innocence long ago and are guided primarily by what can benefit them, often at any cost.

Helenka, a textile industrial student, invents an ideal man who is the envy of all her friends. The dreamy and delusional Helenka resists her complexes with an imaginary lover, her more realistic friend Zuzka would also prefer the dreamy Patrik, but in the end she will probably be happy with the less ideal Honza, and the self-confident vulgar nymphomaniac Sylva flies from one lover to another like a butterfly, finally as she was the only one waiting for her dream Patrick.
